I get the feeling he never fulfilled his potential at Chelsea. I guess relegation battles in Seria A are good experience but probably not what Chelsea are looking for.

Chelsea are a bottom half premiership club ... maybe they will keep hold of him as a relegation specialist

More importantly Chelsea are massively in lieu of FFP, therefore will need to make some sales this summer to comply with FFP.

I’d suggest that the impending necessity of a fire sale will do the exact opposite, unfortunately.
