This is crazy. Why Ethan isn’t being loaned to English clubs either top end of championship or low end Prem is beyond me.
He was last season, that didn't go so well.

Considering most people on here are not involved in the football business it’s incredible how many people said on day one Chelsea was the wrong club for Amps to push on so far it seems they were all bang on.

Blast , I was hoping he’d finally leave Cheapsky , we’d get a big transfer payoff , and this thread would be killed off once and for all.

No way, he's doing great. Just signed a new contract, no doubt a nice pay rise. Out on loan to Venice for a few months. He's 20 his stock will rise and Chelsea will either sell him off at a large profit or he'll play for them.
It's what Chelsea do, and they do it very, very well.

Why not? Yes, Sheffield United as a team struggled but Ethan got some much needed game time and enhanced his reputation.

Sadly Ethan was suspended so didn't play in Wales' match in the knock-out stages. He did play quite well against Italy, though, before getting sent-off so I wonder if that had anything to do with this loan move.

He should have chosen Arsenal, they would have likely given him game time
They could do no worse at the moment!

Exactly this. The fact he has signed a new 3-year deal suggests he's reasonably happy with his situation and certainly increases his value, which is good for us.

It does feel like a big year for him though. I'd suggest that this time next year he'll either be in the Chelsea first-team squad or will be sold to maximise the fee.
