See comments on the club shop forum. Hugely disappointed it is not in my hands.

Well all the books were delivered as per agreement to the club on Friday. This was to meet the agreed publication deadline of today. So I cannot understand why they were not on sale! Unlike my last book, which I self published and handled the marketing, I was merely contracted to write this one for the club and have no control over how it is sold etc.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
The book is a good read Mike....Lots of intresting stories from down the years..

The section about the tour of South America,is a particular favourite Grecian tale for me.That could be a book in itself i would imagine....I wonder if anyone recorded any material from D*ck Pym about that tour, before he passed away in 1989..?

The picture of the burnt out grandstand must be a rariety..It had a Belfast roof & must have been similar to the grandstand at Feethams,by the look of it..

Someone mentioned the price..Its is printed on top quality paper,a hardback & worth every penny imo...A great Christmas prezzy for any Grecian, young or old..

Got mine in the post today. I'm only on page 9 but have flicked through the rest of it and think it a very good purchase. It is a unique book for us. Our Club doesn't have books regularly written about it so when one comes along, and is written by Mike Blackstone, it's worth the £20 price tag.

Mike,

Could there be a further project, after the next one about the ECFC players, to have a definitive stats history of all ECFC games with resuls, goal scorers and attendances (albeit with a few gaps where records don't exist)- for all of us who like the stats? Believe me, it would sell well!

Mike,

Will the next book have the records of all of our Managers as well as the players?

Mine arrived today and I've had a quick flick through. It looks absolutely superb and congratulations on all your hard work. I will comment further once I have had the chance to read it.
