It's Ade Edmondson's column and it's actually satire? Bet the SSD editors could do better.

Favourite film - Die Hard 2. That's not even anyone's favourite Die Hard film.

Whereas the City fan couldn't give 2 tosses as long as his pint glass is full and his pasty is edible.
Rules out getting one at the Park then.

Won't have anything to do with the E & E or Devon Live whatever it's called after a personal intrusion some years back which was completely inaccurate where they put 2 and 2 together and made not even close to 4 - it was an incredible incident which was thankfully averted quite quickly but could have led to a lot of grief for Family and friends.

What a complete waste of bandwidth. Did they run a competition in local primary schools to think up, write and produce an article for their web page?

No one buys newspapers anymore... they're on the internet. There's therefore no money for proper journalism or quality control. Sad state of affairs, but it's harsh to blame the poor soul who has to thrash out reams of content when the inevitable nonsense articles, spelling errors and factual errors emerge... local papers are more like sweatshops with typewriters.
