Wont mention the source but David Noble has been house hunting in Exeter, and told the source he is signing for city!

He is a free agent so could be a possibility! Fingers crossed a replacement for Russell

Err, wow? Who is David Noble and why should we all start getting excited all of a sudden?

If true, that would be a fantastic signing. Another CM though.

What? Not THE ex-Bristol City player?

I've gone all weak at the knees at the prospect....

He would be another midfielder who doesn't score many.

Wouldn't it be cheaper for him just to pay Rob E to make enough room by taking his PSV test and buy a redundant Stagecoach Double Decker** than house-hunt down here? ;)

Note for Ant - A "Stagecoach Double Decker" is a form of public transport, not a rather racy old John Wayne film!

Seems plausible enough but I would have two concerns:

1 - As said above we are not exactly short of CM's although a specialist defensive midfielder (is he?) might well be a useful addition.

2 - He was on loan at Yeovil last season but they don't seem interested in a permanent deal. Of course that could be down to money though.

Noble played a very big role in getting Bristol up to the Champ a few years ago. If his wages are reasonable he really would be a fantastic asset, and the fact we have so many CM's is the only issue in my eyes.
