I'm 'aving it medium
On the back of two wins, I think we might just manage to take a point from this match. 1-1 Dunne.

It'll be close. 42-37. As always not sure to whom.

I'm travelling to this one with a Colchester supporting friend and his Dad. He comes to City more often than not and, normally, you couldn't tell that he was anything other than a City fan - he wears the shirt and is just as pleased as me when we score/win. But, as an Essex boy, his first love is Col U.

Unfortunately, this means we're going to get stuffed and it's going to be one hell of a long drive back on Saturday evening!

Praying for a repeat of that 1968 FA Cup game at the Old Layer Rd

Colchester 0 ECFC 1
(Banks....whoops....CORR (Barry, not Johnny) 9 minutes)
City grimly (somehow) hang on for the remaining 81 minutes.
Floodlights "mysteriously" fail just before the end, but the ref thankfully allows the game to finish

OK, some of the above might be a bit fanciful, but I will GUARANTEE one similarity with the 68 game - it will be feckin' freezing! :(

Here and there
Our record up there is P31 W9 D7 L15

(With tongue in cheek) I predict a repeat of the 4-3 City victory of 16th October 1984 :)
