20 goals for England and over 80 for Man City, and he doesn't even play as a striker. I'd love to have someone like that at the club!
Absolutely! The word "latterly" was a reference to his time at Chelsea which hasn't been as prolific.

12 goals in 56 games. Not bad for a winger

Should've stayed at Liverpool, Sterling.

First half was an almost pathetic performance from us. Dreadful in every sense and one which harked back to the autumn/ winter run. Like we had gone on holiday a day early. Only Aimson imho came away with any credit from the outfield players and he conceded a penalty but was still our best player on the pitch first half and Sinisalo did well and could do nothing with both goals. We will miss Sinisalo.

2nd half was a significant improvement, but still highlighted how our attacking third play has been for most of the season. Alli looks a real find though and one we will need to be fit all season next season as he will be a difference maker for us imho.

Kite as always with our youth players seems to get lauded by everyone.

He wasn't good enough in L2 let alone L1.

Sorry Kitey is a midfielder whether MT or GC see otherwise
But is no stranger to filling in at RCB when the situation demands it, as it did on Saturday. Ironically for you, the switch allowed another academy player on to the pitch, one that has played a lot of minutes recently despite being 16. If the kids are good enough to get into the team GC will pick them to. GC has shown no signs of any negativity towards the academy players since he has arrived. When the timing is right, they will come through again.

Yes, he sustained an injury in training during the week.
Thanks

Kite came on in midfield but was moved back to RCB when Sweenz pulled up lame to bring JR on. A position he first appeared under Matt Taylor.
As you say circumstances change in games. Not sure why some people seem to think the manager has a vendetta against academy players and Kite in particular. Gary brought Kite on as a midfielder that was his clear intent but couldn't forsee Sweenz pulling up as he did requiring the change around

Because it made good cannon fodder when we were struggling. In spite of our recent residence there are still some people still to be convinced by Caldwell and think it's useful to still have this cannon fodder handy.

Maybe people were genuinely concerned that the academy pipeline wasn't being looked after properly? Now, they might have been (or continue to be) wrong about that, but I would start from that position that they were probably genuine. There were reasons for concern.

It's not like they were still claiming a striker we had in the conference was useless after he went on to play in the top flight.
