How is the pitch looking? More rain forecast, any danger of a pp?

2-0 City win. Bowman with both - his first (and second) of many.

One thing to note with Colchester is they often seem to either thrash or be thrashed.

I'd therefore urge Taylor to try to get his troops to come out of the blocks a lot quicker than they have done recently. Get in amongst them, get an early goal, watch them fold.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.

I was at SJP today...Pitch looked good,no sign of standing water on the IP Stand side, despite the deluges.
It has also been very windy to dry out the pitch.

Interesting to see how many turn up on Saturday,a couple of insipid recent home performances with zero goals.
Anything over 4k home support will be a bonus.

Ticket sales for the stands currently OK, though of course much will depend on the matchday casuals. Overall, IMO looking shy of 4K at present. Total attendance, depends how many Colchester bring, the weather will depress that for sure.

Doubt Colchester will bring more than 200, they rarely do.
Good news about the pitch, hope for a good crowd and everyone, RL or not, getting behind the lads for 90 minutes

Not too bothered about the rain but just how windy does it have to get before a game is called off?

Only when health and safety of either the players or spectators is compromised. Not sure where that is on the Beaufort scale, though?!

FA guidelines state Storm Force 8. High waves: Slight structural damage. Peter Crouch begins to sway.

Here to help.
