ooooohhhhhhhhhh sh*tarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr aaaarrrrrrrrr
Not doubting you but can't see how a £10 each-way double on Captain Chris [1st at 6-1] and Carole's Legacy [2nd at 9-1] pays anything like that. The win part of the bet is a loser; the each-way part is £10 at 6 x 0.2 [1/5 the odds a place] gives you £22 going on to Carole's Legacy at 9 x 0.25 [1/4 the odds a place] which equates to a return of £71.50. If your bookie's paid out £250 they've f*cked up. Big time.
Oops wrote it down wrong in my excitement.Chris won at 8/1 and I had £20 on that which paid £160 and i also had the double which paid about had 8/1 and 14/1 as my odds not the sps which paid out £80odd

Makes much more sense. Here's to another winning day... it looks decidedly tricky, though there looks like there could be at least a couple more winners for Ruby.

Well I went for Spirit Son, Ghizao, Sunnyhillboy, Oscar Whiskey, Another Jewell, Banjaxed Girl and Tullamore Dew yesterday. Not the best day, time to have a look at todays cards and hope for a turn around in fortunes!

Today's complete and utter waste of money goes on the following horses: 1.30 Chicago Grey; 2.40 Aiteen Thirtythree; 3.20 Master Minded; 4.00 Arcalis (e/w); 4.40 Plan A.

Apologies if you've already bet on them.

First Lieutenant was my only winner yesterday that led to me breaking even. After a pretty poor 2 days, am hoping these can do a bit better

1-30 Loosen My Load, 2-05 Sivota, 2-40 Voy Per Ustedes, 3-20 Fiveforthree 4-00 Beautiful Sound 4-40 Galant Nuit

May also do Kayf Aramis (2-05) and Den of Iniquity (4-40) Each way, and am considering a reverse forecast on Big Bucks and Gran Crus

Wins on Noble Prince and Buena Vista has meant a profitable day. :)

Buena Vista won the same race last year and this, as did Alberta's Run and Big Buck's. Faasel finished second in the same race as he finished second in last year.

With bets on Buena Vista (which I tipped for you last year), Alberta's Run, and each way on Faasel plus Holmwood Legend I am over £400 up today.

Good day for David Pipe with Buena Vista and Junior winning, Faasel beaten only by his stablemate and Grand Crus going close in the big one. Nice to see Henry Cecil winning the charity race with Plato and over £150k raised for a cancer charity
