We're travelling up & back on the train to Brentford on 15th January.

Our train leave Paddington back to Exeter at 19:06. According to trainline there is engineering works between Clapham & Richmond & the return journey from Brentford to Paddington would take 1 hour 52 minutes meaning the last train we would have to catch from Brentford is the 16.56.

Here's the journey, Brentford 16.56 -Kew Bridge 17.03 (train), Kew Bridge 17.09 - Clapham Junction 17.53 (bus), Clapham 18.10 - London Vic 18.16 (train), London Vic 18.16 - Paddington 18.48 (tube), Total time 1:52

Looking at other journeys going from Gunnersbury only takes 38 minutes to get to Paddington.

So if anyone could give me some advice it would be much appreciated. Could we walk to Gunnersbury station easy enough from Brentford? Is there any other routes we could take?

15 minute walk to South Ealing, change to Circle at Hammersmith, an hour top whack from the ground to Padders.

Exeweb Rail travel HQ or so it seems!!
Failing that exeips get a Number 65 bus that stops right outside the ground and runs to Ealing Broadway station. Plenty of local services to Paddington from there and thats what we have done over the last couple of seasons and its worked a treat. Even managed to get the 1806 out of Paddington

I would question how they think it takes 7 minutes to get from Brentford to Kew Bridge (one very short stop), but hey...

RaWZ is probably nearest to the button - 65 bus. Or ********'s route for the slightly more energetic.

Heck, as long as the trains are running to Haaanslow from Brentford I don't mind!
