Will organise an advance train tickets and then purchase day return to Horwich Parkway. Cheaper and easier than going via Manchester.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
No train strikes please!
It should be ok, I’m not planning to travel by rail. 😎

The last couple of times I have booked to travel on that mode of transport for a game, a rarity because I prefer to drive these days (unless it involves the M25) inevitably it gets scuppered by industrial action.

I prefer to drive to away games too.
I appreciate there’s environmental considerations but being in the car gives us more flexibility.
Plus, we usually stay over and do a few bits and pieces around the area.
I agree about avoiding the M25.
It’s best avoided wherever possible.

If you're staying in Bolton and looking for a nice bar to have a drink in then I'd recommend the Bolton Gin company.

If you say you're from Devon you'll get a warm welcome...mainly because my relatives own it!

Probably goes without saying I'm making the trip up for this one, it'll actually be my first game of the season outside of non league football, I've been given a day of leave since the birth of my first child so hoping its a decent game!

M60 is as bad as the M25 these days.

I'm hoping to make this, we didn't turn up last season but Carlisle have shown us that Bolton can be beat
