Best striking partnership?

The way they played tonight they are far and away our best partnership, mainly because Logan was so pumped and got to so many second balls that he then fed to Curo. Jamie ran them absolutly ragged, helped in no small part by some excellent service from the midfield and Logie, who seemed to know where Curo was without having to look up.

Tisdale says (E & E yesterday):

"All players need to be capable of playing with others, so I won't make it an exclusive partnership (between Logan and Cureton)," Tisdale said.

"We know that it works – Jamie and Richard have produced some good performances together.

"But with strikers I do like to use the whole group of them, I'm not one for sticking with the same players all the time."

Cureton and Logan for me.

There was an interesting exchange today in the 2nd half. Logan won the ball and headed the ball in to space in the middle about 5 yards outside the box. However, Cureton had drifted off to the left. I think Logan said something along the lines of "I've just headed you the perfect ball, and you weren't there"!

Which is a good thing, as is someone gets injured at least they used to playing with one another. However, Cureton and Logan do work very well together!
