we have had 2 promotions in my 30 years as a fan

We know the feeling JM.Only 2 promotions in 36 years for me following the Grecians.
The last 12 years in the FL being particularly dire,save 1 season when we finished the dizzy height of 12th
In all honesty the Conference could be a shot in the arm for the Gulls,it certainly hearalded a new beginning for the Grecians.which i have to add is wearing a bit thin now...
A reasonable crowd on Saturday as well.A good call reducing the admission price, a better atmosphere & a few extra ££'s as well...Bateson could still be the Gulls messiah...
