After the Fiorentina player whose head was cut by an object thrown by a West Ham fan who clearly only works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays had his head bandaged in La Violas' purple, should City consider having red and white striped bandages from now on?

I've seen regulation white bandages loosely applied to City players in the past which miraculously changed into the Club's colours.

Probably still only need white bandages provided the blood comes out in stripes (I'm thinking - did Terry Butcher achieve a red and white striped effect?)

My memory is of a completely red bandage with a shirt like retro Arsenal.
