Still remember the walk out of the ground after the Nardiello winner in the Johnson Paint Trophy. Disgraceful scenes. Don't know how I got out unscathed. I know a lot who weren't as fortunate.
I even got attacked in hospitality !Still remember the walk out of the ground after the Nardiello winner in the Johnson Paint Trophy. Disgraceful scenes. Don't know how I got out unscathed. I know a lot who weren't as fortunate.
City fans kept back so Slime could assemble and pick off fans as they left. Flares thrown, coaches smashed up, people attacked as they tried to return to their cars. The police were undermanned that night and ever since have been over cautious, jeez last time I went to the game I ended up being escorted to the train station, my car was in Muttley!Still remember the walk out of the ground after the Nardiello winner in the Johnson Paint Trophy. Bet you parked it in Stoke !City fans kept back so Slime could assemble and pick off fans as they left. Flares thrown, coaches smashed up, people attacked as they tried to return to their cars. Ironic that. I had the opposite experience to that. Trying to get to the station I was herded toward Mutley.City fans kept back so Slime could assemble and pick off fans as they left. As I remember it the problem was more that all the fans were let out at the same time and what police were there were busy fighting Argyle fans inside the ground. Outside was a bit of a free for all. Me and GrecIan got hold of our Grandad either side and pretty much had him off his feet as we got back to the car in the car park (good idea Ian ) and then waited it out for things to start moving. There were hooded ghouls running everywhere but luckily a muscle bound Alsatian and his handler decided to pitch camp in front of the car. Any kind who got close got a shock as the dog was not in a receiving mood .Ironic that. I had the opposite experience to that. Trying to get to the station I was herded toward Mutley.
Funny that. Almost as if the Devon & CORNWALL Constabulary were being orchestrated by one of their former Defective Constables (and current supporters website "owner")
Me tooLoved that night, me.
