Ash clouds and BA strikes permitting, 18 days and counting to the pre/post season trip to Jony's Bar on Andros.

Then 8 days of sun, sea, Mythos and wall to wall World Cup with a little sojourn in war-torn Athens to finish the holiday.

I believe Jubby has left the arrangement to NLM

Am gutted to be missing it this year - the last three trips have been fantastic, and have witnessed some of the most sublime football ever played by men in City shirts.

All the best to Jony. I shall toast all you guys in South Africa (look out for the Dutch City flag!).

Match Day has arrived.
Kick off is scheduled for 8.15 local time, nicely between the 2 world cup games.
It's 35 degrees outside right now so the Mad Dogs and Englishmen and women are dealing with it the only way possible. A nice cold pint of Mythos in Jony's Bar.

Posters are up around town and, if it doesn't put you off your sunday lunch there are a couple of familiar faces here

A fairly even game decided largely by the number of subs the home side were able to bring on in the second half as the tourists began to tire.

4-2 the final score. Apart from pride only a few ankle ligaments hurt.
