Grimes was on £500 a week for us and when he went to Swansea they paid him £10k a week.

Now that was in 2015. It is perfectly conceivable that Luton signed Muskwe into the Championship on £10k a week or more.

Swansea had just been relegated from the Premier League and would have bagged circa £50m[?] courtesy of their parachute payment; conversely, when Muskwe signed for Luton they'd not long been promoted to the Championship from League One and wouldn't have had anything close to the resources the Swans would have had at their disposal.
