Hardly an original idea. For a long time many posters have been complaining about the inertia of both the board and the BoS and several have wished for a ""sugar daddy".
The problem is, it's not easy to make the change. Laurence Overend is supposed to be the new messiah : we'll see if his bite is worse than his bark

He's not the messiah; he's a very naughty boy.

Board & Responsibilities

The Dons Trust Board (DTB) and Football Club Board (FCB) work very closely in order to give the Trust and Club unified, strategic leadership and direction, with a clear line of accountability running from the Club Directors through the CEO up to the full elected DTB which is, in turn, accountable to the membership as a whole.

Within this framework, the role of the Dons Trust Board is to set and agree strategic direction and to scrutinise the performance of the FCB.
