Our numbers up there that day were superb - about 2,500 if I remember correctly. Scunny got promoted at SJP a few years back and only had about 300 down here.
Yes 2454 City fans at the game . A great day it was too

Amazing day that one.

Although we all moaned about the DVS, it was one of the very few grounds in L2 that season that could have accommodated 2,454 City fans, so in a way we were fortunate that Rotherham away was our final game of that season.

On a lighter note I am flabbergasted that going to Rotherham from Exeter is seen as a “Great day out “
When I googled “ Tourist attractions in Rotherham “ it came back with “ Do you mean Rotterdam? “

The match was, however, played in Sheffield.

Actually I quite like the new Rotherham stadium (New York) which is well placed for the centre and transport links. An interesting design and very friendly people when I went to our last match there.

Sadly the Don Valley Stadium was demolished in 2013, the site was redeveloped and is now called the Olympic Legacy Park I believe future development is now being planned to expand the site further.

I went there when we played Rotherham. The sign for the away end was still there, even if the ground wasn't!

Here are South Yorkshire's finest awaiting the inevitable pitch invasion that day, as well as another couple of snaps.
