very good indeed, however you can look back at games we should have won, brighton H, Southampton H etc etc.

thats alot of points and think were we would be now? play offs?
Any team can do those sort of what ifs. There are games which we'll be disappointed not to have got more out of, but equally other teams will think the same about games against us (e.g. however well we played, Oldham should have closed it out, MK Dons will be irritated not to get all 3 points, we had to hang on to beat Huddersfield etc).

It's an interesting little insight into human nature that we tend to feel the good things were always destined to be, but the bad things would have been different if only some minor thing had been done.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
as an extra to this anyone know what maximum away points gained in a season by city is? we got 26 in championship season having done fairly poorly up to last 5 games we were 5 1 13 before wins at colchester torquay and lincoln with a draw at gillingham so not quite 5 games but think we were unbeaten away at start or next season by beating chester and mansfield and drawing at birmingham.

think we can get 7 points from 6 games to beat that season total, one of our other promotion seasons may have seen a better away record.

last season we only got 9 away points from first 17 games so shows how far we have come, especially as we got 5 positive away results in the jpt.

Without looking it up, I think our away record in 2008/09 was 9,8,6...so 35 points from 23 games. I also believe this was a record or joint record of away league wins for us.

Currently we are at 5,5,7....20 points, so would take 5 wins (out of the last 6) to equal that...

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Away wins 'on the spin' is 5 (league only)...3 at the end of 76/77...Newport,Barnsley,Doncaster & the start of 77/78 wins at Walsall & Shrewsbury...

During the Division 4 Championship season,13 defeats on the road was a record for any team, that finished up as champions of any division in the Football League i believe..
