I need two adult tickets - anywhere in the ground - for the match against Port Vale tomorrow. Genuine (health related) reasons why we couldn’t get tickets before they sold out. If you can, please help!
This sort of thread is so bloody depressing! Tisdale - love him or hate him - has got a tune out of a squad of players that are the sort of combination of youth and experience that a club of our profile is compelled to work with. For the first time in our history as a football league club, we...
I thought we learned from the 2007 Morecambe match that we needed a singing zone? There were less of us for the Cambridge final, but a much better atmosphere ... Hope someone is sorting it out!
I think that's what Carlisle will get at SJP, isn't it? (800 terrace plus 328 seated). I haven't seen anything concerning our allocation, and 15% of Brunton Park's capacity (c. 18,000) is WAY more (2,700!) than I imagine we'll be allocated ...
I find it hard to believe that we once produced a coffee mug celebrating a Conference win over Oxford, and are now seriously considering not producing a DVD celebrating the season that we survived the best line up to an English third tier in decades :S
I'd certainly buy one ...
Have just been to St Mary's box office (5 miles away) - but decided against buying yet! Southampton have this system where they sell tickets on computer egnerated basis, that the staff can't over-ride. Means that first served get back row, dark corner, and 'singing zone' tickets come when people...
Everything has a price, and naming rights are no deifferent. Some people might say that that price is two shiny new stands, and some might say that it would take much more than that - but there IS a price that everyone would accept, or they would just be being plain stupid.
I am outted on this one. Two years ago, thought he was rubbish, and just didn't get what Tis saw in him. Now recognise his value - at least to the squad, if not always the team. No longer recoil when I hear his name on team sheet. Respect, Bertie!
Good spot, Norman! Isn't there some league rule about ticket prices for home supporters having to be made available to away fans, too? (We will be two adults, two children, so I must declare a vested interest - but not prepared to sit in Saints area just to go cheap - would be thrown out inside...
How can anyone disapprove of an extra bit of entertainment? Beyond me ... brought along a non-City supporting mate from Southampton, and he was very complimentary about it. Told me (ref. Grecianettes/Grecian 2000) that if THAT didn't sell hair dye, nothing would!
children, children - lighten up ... how about we all agree that for the first time in living memory, we have three keepers at the club who don't leave us worried about having to field a stop-gap?
Didn't have enough time to get to SJP in time today, so forced to take in the local Southampton/MK Dons match. I am afraid to say that it was light years ahead of what I have seen from City in last few weeks. The speed of the midfields - speed of thought, as much as footwork and just general...
