Not sure how legit this is, but if it can be believed, I'm surprised how low MK dons are. Thought they spent a lot of money, badly, rather than being relatively financially limited.
If you're aim is the top 10, you've probably got a bottom half budget, haven't you. I doubt clubs with the 10th biggest budget are setting their ambitions at 10th.
To be fair, this season he looks like a prem player playing temporarily in the championship. Leeds player of the season in what could still be a promotion season. He's not achieved (yet) what Ollie has achieved, but if he was getting minutes here and there for us, we'd still put him in the...
Not so much about the manager as about the club and their willingness to invest. My understanding is Rovers have spent too much and are in a bit of trouble. Regardless of what Taylor wants, he may not be getting a promotion chasing budget next season.
With the greatest respect to both players, who I think are much better than we've seen this season, it's a funny old game... Rovers fancy Kite as the answer in midfield, but have sent Woods home from his loan early. Kite couldn't even get on the bench for us, even before the arrival of Woods...
I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm still slightly off being completely convinced by Cole. He's got obvious quality on the ball and he has fantastic moments... Also see games where he's really imposing and looks like a leader... Peterborough at home springs to mind. Other times, he looks too...
Yeah, who knows? It's not the vibe I pick up from him. Seems quite happy here, but also someone who embraces challenges, rather than seeks comforts.
If he turned down a contract with us, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go further afield, rather than back to Manchester... Could see him...
But what makes you think he's desperate to live around Manchester? His career path so far doesn't suggest he's desperate to stay close to home. Also doesn't come across as that kind of guy. Seems quite happy, but who knows. Are Stockport so rich they're blowing us out of the water for Mitchell...
Well, he'll be doing well if he can trump Salah, De Bruyne and Lukaku for fiddles chelsea couldn't get a tune out of. I just think he took a bit longer to get there... Fairly normal for his position. We'll see how he does in the prem, it's a big old jump.
I'd do more due diligence if I was director of football at a club interested in signing him. I'm just a punter on a message board trying to make sense of why his stock declined and he went to the championship for £7M instead of midtable premiership for £20M. I don't think largish English clubs...
Maybe so, I can't claim to have watched a lot of Verona... but the fee is the fee. He wasn't on a lot of monied clubs radars at the time and would be very surprised if Chelsea let him go to Leeds for anything less than the most they felt they could've got.
