One for the stattos on here - before today who was the last City player to score 6 goals while still a teenager?
Would it be my old (very briefly) team mate Richard Pears?

This answer is 3 or 4 ! Twice in successive seasons under Brian Godfrey as manager and once under Tisdale. It becomes 4 if you take when we competed in the regionalised Division 3 (South) and consider finishing in the top 5 as the equivalent. In 1932/33 we finished 2nd in that Competition but unfortunately at that time only the top team of both the North and South Divisions were promoted to Division 2. :(
Following up (and jinxing the rest of the season!): if we work on the basis that in Div 3 (South) a regional 6th = national 12th, City have only finished in the top half of the 3rd tier a total of 5 times. Include all the ones Colesman Ballz mentions in the top 10, plus one more under Godfrey (11th).

It's now a realistic possibility that we could make it six this season.

Still on for that top half!

Next research topic: City's unbeaten runs in the 3rd tier. What's the record?

When was the last time City scored four goals away from home in a single half, in L1 and L2 or equivalent?

Yesterday was our 10th consecutive league game where we have scored. I’m guessing the record is a lot more, but what would that be?

Football League record as stated is 22 (15/09/1958 to 28/02/1959)
Record for first team league matches is 26 (01/02/1907 to 28/11/1908). Last 12 games of season in Plymouth & District League followed by first 14 games in Southern League.

If I'm looking at the right stats it happened 5 seasons in a row under Tisdale when we returned to League 2.

Most away wins ever in the third tier this season with 9 surpassing the previous highest of 8 we achieved in 1953/54 (Div 3 South) and 2010/11.
