Can see Tom Carroll being offered another year, Ryan Woods could possibly be around for a couple years providing the loan move goes well…Hopefully get two or three permanent signings in earlier before the start of preseason training.
Agree re Carroll, I don't think he's done enough up to this point to get a good deal elsewhere.

Carroll had a very good August then the least said about his form up to Christmas the better….Since then he’s been pretty decent and influential…Just thought Woods could be a strong possibility providing we do actually stay in League One.

Woods is under contract to Hull until the summer of 2025 so it seems unlikely we will be able to get close enough to his current wages to be able to persuade him to sign for us.

He seemed open to looking elsewhere (from Hull) in the summer in his interview with Craig a few days ago, so you never know.

Get the feeling he’s no longer in the manager’s plans at the MKM Stadium.

There’s very little chance that someone would give up a year of a Championship contract (and why would they?).
If his time with us between now and the end of the season goes well the only way it’d work financially for him to be here further is something along the lines of Hull paying him part of his remaining wages to leave and us making up the difference.
Possible, but unlikely I would have thought.

I wouldn't rule it out completely Bridgy, we seem to be doing similar by part paying James Scott's wages for the rest of the season, so "what's sauce for the goose etc". . . . . .

Think we should look at Tolaj and Rutherford from the NL. The latter if people are willing to look past his scholarship... Good CF and RWB options.

Your Football Manager squad must be huge Ryan, Noel Blake size 😉

Loving the free flowing entertaining football at S
Diabate & Cox signing new deals is so important for next season….

if we lose them after their efforts and impact in the 2nd half of this season it would be a real blow.
