I'm not surprised by that, born and raised in Exeter. His Ol' Man used to play up front for Civil Service.Very happy with this signing. Didn’t realise he supported City!

Struggling to make sense of this. You sell players for as much as you can and buy for as little. Market dictates the price point. All else is guff. What does difficult to work with mean? What's a good will gesture achieve?Exeter have proved very difficult to work with, the finances on this deal are very much a goodwill gesture from County. The original deal was due to be a loan. Hopefully in turn means the potential deals going the other way will be easier. By the sounds of things it is unlikely this window, if any move happens, it would be loan with obligation to buy in the summer, again something Exeter aren't keen on.
Love him already!Scores and celebrates against Plymouth

Ross County don't have financial constraints in the way Exeter do. Exeter wanted to loan Purrington for the remainder of this year, the talks have been on going since around October. In the past few weeks, it has become apparent a player (or players) are unsettled at Exeter with one being offered to County through his agent. When County enquired they were initially knocked back and told the player is not for sale. Without getting into too much detail, the deal secured for Purrington is peanuts (relatively). County have paid up a couple of fees that the buying club would tend to pay out. This is in hope of concluding at least one deal in January, with a player heading North.Struggling to make sense of this. You sell players for as much as you can and buy for as little.
