No, deadline day was Tuesday January 31st and the incident with Jevani occurred in the early hours of Thursday February 2nd.
Isn't Thursday the players 'day off', it certainly used to be anyway.

Andy H is probably harking back to the days when midweek fixtures were played on Wednesdays, rather than the current Tuesdays ?

I remember Bally saying he 'preferred Tuesdays' because it gave the players extra time to recover ahead of the weekend, overlooking the fact that it gave them less time to recover after lol.
