Unfortunately we got a beating that night after a very enjoyable cup run. I remember us beating QPR on penalties at SJP on a Saturday afternoon.

I had forgotten about Rod Young, he looked quite a talented winger/attacker who seemed to appear out of nowhere part way through that season. I was quite disappointed to find he wasn't still with us the following season but had moved to Norwich. He is still going (See Here) but looks like another one whose potential might not have been realised.

City’s Keeper that day, Jake Viney, has been at Bridgwater Town/United over two spells since 2012.
He passed over 200 appearances for the first team in 2021 and it would have been more if it wasn’t for some time playing for Wellington, injuries and the covid interrupted season.
He said in an interview with our local paper a couple of years ago that he’s aiming for 500 appearances for Bridgy.
