Incredible to show that despite for us crowds beyond what we have experienced for a number of years an average of 6,348 sees us 'languishing' in 16th place in this table
It’s an eye opener to see the difference between the top 4 and bottom 4 teams average attendance. When you hear managers talk about playing budgets this really shows you what ecfc are up against, and how well we have started this season considering.

Its a strong L1, Quite a few Ex-Prem teams/Championship teams all with decent followings, Home and away. I'm happy with our start (In fact quite estatic about it) but trying not to get too carried away as its a long, hard season.

Ipswich average attendance is more than the total of our 4 homes games to date despite being a similar sized county town in a rural setting. I know their history, but even so.

None so blind than those who can't see. Oh, the irony.

We are currently 2nd best in L1 for goals conceded after GW7. Just 5 in 7 games.

For anyone who wants to hear for themselves what the Cheltenham manager said about Port Vale and time wasting the whinge begins at about 7 minute 20 seconds into the video. If you listen from the start you might fall asleep before that point because he must be the dreariest manager in football.

That table tells you everything you need to know. Hopefully the added firepower of Smith and Stansfield will help close the gap in points on the teams either side of us.

Re the Cheltenham manager link

Probably wasting time, surprised he didn't start rolling around on the ground holding his leg during the interview.
