I noticed this company pop up as an advert on Exeweb doing various retro City shirts including this St Sidwells United number ...

Jeez £34.99. They're having a laugh.

If you think that's pricey...

I'm with Moxey on this one, no mention of "City" (or even our proper badge) so they can go and do one.

Should Exeweb even be carrying adverts for this unofficial junk ?

Seen it for the first time this morning on my phone. It's a pain to block but I could. What are other readers thoughts?

If the club stocked their own merchandise, sites like this would never get any trade anyway.

If a site is offering stuff that is not a Trade Marks breach I would let it go.

The Exeter City Trade Marks are viewable on line:

Exeter City Trade Marks

The criminal offence section of the Trade Marks Act talks about a sign identical to, or likely to be mistaken for

(I should add that I am not familiar with the Copyright Act - Edit)

My missus bought me the black version of the Harrington jacket from this site. There was little in the club shop at the time.

I'm not up for blocking as it's a person's choice if they want this sort of material, but the frustrating part is that the club aren't seeming to be looking at these options of merchandising, hopefully this year with new commercial bod there will be a change.

This is being sold as Exeter, not City Chiefs Saracens or Falcons (those were the days), just Exeter and could apply to any activity associated with the city regardless of the vendor putting the word football on it, particularly as they use the castle emblem.
