Bamford missed Saturday and has now been ruled out for several weeks.
He should be ruled out of international football for the rest of his career. Talk about out your depth.

As the saying goes it’s an ill wind and whilst I have sympathy for Bamford, he was being touted as a threat to Ollie’s immediate future involvement with England and Ollie’s injury giving him an opportunity which he failed to take advantage of now looks to have worked very much in Ollie’s favour.

Why do you have sympathy for Bamford? It was Andorra he started against, not Italy, yet he didn't manage a single shot, either on or off target, for the hour he was on the pitch. Against Andorra.

Can’t argue with that perhaps I am thinking of him as a human being and showing too much of the milk of human kindness lol.

Indeed. Pretty poor report saying that Ollie hasn't been involved since being left out of the Euros finals squad. In fact, a) after being left out for the tournament Ollie went on to stay with the squad (and play twice in friendlies?) and b) was injured for the previous England squad this season.
The Daily Mail has him as having had 3 caps so far.

Danny Murphy says he'd rather have Tammy Abraham in the squad than Ollie Watkins.

I find that encouraging - Murphy's clueless

In the right place to tap it home. Other than that was too easily brushed off the ball and not very effective today.

The "Currant Bun" are speculating that Arsenal are targeting both Calvert-Lewin and Ollie.
