Arsenal had a higher net spend than any other Premiership side in the transfer window just gone. At 131.8 million, it was quite a distance ahead of the next biggest spenders.
Oy, don’t you come on here with them new-fangled “facts” of yours, they’re not welcome here.

Maybe so, That is a reaction to not qualifying for any European competition and as I said , They are now just coming out from servicing their loans for the Stadiym build, Kronkie? Know he needs to spend if they want to reach at least the top four to attract good players and ask Arsenal fans, He's not one to dip his hands in his pocket plus he has had a tug of war with another shareholder. Spurs are now at the start of servicing a £750m? loan for its new stadium, Levvy offering £20m-£25m? for Ollie is one example, Two or three of their choices of managers turned them down, Funding for players was said to be one issue. Nope, North London are in the doldrums, Arsenal are beginning to see a light., As for Ollie, Have a barn storming season for Villa and maybe England and see where the interest is then.

before we start trying to sell Ollie on from Villa there is the important matter of £3m in add ons still to be earned at Villa, worth 450k to City!

We're not selling Ollie from Villa, Just responding to the Gossip column on the BBC and why Spurs tried and failed with a derisory bid to Brentford last Spring/Summer (2020)

Can anyone shed any light on how that's broken down and how much we would have already received? I recall there were add-ons linked to England appearances (although some confusion about whether that included being named as a sub and not playing) and Villa staying in the Premier League.

The bald headed count Levy never wants to pay the asking price but his main objective is not to develop a football club. Investment in the squad is secondary and Spurs over achieved thanks to Potch.

Here to help. Extra £5m *maximum* payable from Villa to Brentford of which ECFC get 15%, maximum therefore of 750k.

£1m for each season Villa stay in the Premiership (£1m paid for last season).

England competitive appearances -- £1m for a start, 500k for coming on as sub (500k paid for San Marino game as (scoring!) sub.

England friendly appearances - 500k for a start, 250k for coming on as a sub (2x250k paid for two friendly sub appearances)
