When his contract expires are we going to get a proper explanation about what exactly went wrong here?! How did it get to the point where he was completely overlooked. He could not have refused to train or play because that would have been grounds for dismissal if he wasn’t injured.

Doubt it , Taylor’s had months to be more forthcoming on the subject and hasn’t been. Sooner this sorry saga finally comes to an end the better which it will as soon as we’ve chucked another couple of months’ wages down the drain. Presumably he’s left the club proper now anyway and we just post him his monthly cheque or whatever.

Stephen Ward played 29 games for Ipswich this season. They dropped him because if he played one more game it would have triggered a 12 month extension to his contract and they didn’t want him for next season. I’m guessing there is a similar situation with Ajose. His departure has been anounced which means he will cease to be an Exeter player on the last day of June.
