Should we be worried that we have potentially Southend's midfield from last season, depending where Tim was playing at the time for them in view of his versatility

I did think that, but our defence has been reasonably solid so far, and our attack had a slow start due to injuries/covid.

I'm starting to like the squad that's been put together, it's young, athletic and enthusiastic with an experienced head here or there. If they gel and improve each season, it's a squad that has huge potential to propel us up the leagues.

One question does still intrigue me though.

Does MT have absolute carte blanche on signings or does the final approval on wages/contract length etc still have to be "signed off" by Taggy and/or the directors?
(Not a dig, I promise - just curious)

Interesting family history.
Taylor is the half-brother of the English/French comedian Paul Taylor.
Let's hope he manages to "speak the same language" as Timothee on the pitch as well. All we need is Alex and Bertie back and it'll almost be like being back in the EU again!

I get the impression that MT has a budget and its basically up to him how he uses it.

I’ll settle for what we’ve got provided we can keep Key.
