So when we send I dunno, Diabete to Truro for instance, we don't have an expectation that Truro will improve him and that he'll come back closer to our first team?

You really do spout some tosh.
Truro will improve him?!…… what League are they in. If he’s good enough and there’s a chance we can sell him on, he will be in the first team before you know it.

If they don't improve him, why is he there? Might as well sit around on a Saturday in Exeter.

I'll say it again, tosh.

Of course he had no idea before he went to W-S-M. It must be the sea air. Watkins has worked hard admittedly but ability gets you everywhere in football, hence why he is now at Villa and in England Squads.

So ...
To paraphrase your post #51 ...

Was Watkins good enough and was there a chance we could sell him on, and was he in the first team before you knew it?
Because it looked like we took the advantage of W-S-M developing him and making him first team ready to me.

Can't quite believe you continuing with this argument. Why the hell do you think players are sent on loan, if they don't come back better than when they left what would be the point?

In some cases, depending on the deal, just to relieve a little pressure on the loaning club's finances?

Hants closes it every time a signing is confirmed because it's no longer a rumour.

He's probably having a nap
