Imo the time to do that is if we know we can't reach the playoffs and know that we are safe from relegation.
I think David's point is they may give us something new to inspire us, not just give them game-time, Cox certainly is meant to be immense:oops:

Even so, I stick to my original opinion. I think it's better to give them good game time when our situation is clear and can't be impacted.
They're still very young. But if we're winning 3-0 with 30 minutes to go, why not?

The key thing for me is that Dr Dave's trusty barometer has been in action. I don't recall it rocking up on the Walsall MDT but THB I have tried to put that game behind me.

Hutt Brextable making the scene, Ryan Bowman back, the Hartridge brothers in harness and Dr Dave's meteorological messages. What's not to like ? Omens are good.

Just hope we don't just revert to the old "boot it to Bowman" which we know doesn't work. El Bowman's holding up and closing down abilities does give our midfield more room to breathe, hope we can use that to attack the goal from deep.
My complaint about these early starts is that it extends afternoon drinking and can get messy!

I seem to have no sound or picture now. Annoying.
