Far away across the field
First rule of corners. Beat the first man

Not sure that Sparkes on the right of midfield really works but he has picked up some loose balls and made some tackles. Going forward we're not really clicking on that side. I feel Joel Randall would get a lot of joy on the left today if he was playing.

Nigel has been Carlisle’s best player so far. Always finds a blue shirt.
For the 2nd game in a row. Pretty much like the rest of it so far

Law looks like our only threat.

Sparkes isn't a right sided player.
I’m not convinced Law is the player he was. Out of position etc. But he looks slow to me. We miss the ‘Randall’ brothers on the flanks.

What about Jay and Law ?

Jay's numbers this season are superb.

Williams stats are poor.
I meant more there ability to get in behind, but we just generally look a much more composed and threatening side when we have our best 2 wingers in the side.

Jay has been immense this season and long may that continue.

Twice now that Sparkes hasn’t beat the first man with his cross. Poor by his standards.

Law has been our best player today.

Only 5 in the box for set pieces. No surprise we can't get to the ball.Put one more in there.

Can't recall a single corner or free kick when we got the first touch from the cross. Poor delivery, poor positioning or lack of aggression in the box?
