If you want a nice, tidy scone please put the cream on first and then plop on the jam. However, if you want a good old messy lump of a scone put the jam on first and then the cream. Obviously jam spreads on cream more easily than cream on jam (friction).
I reckon Lord Tisdale would choose type 1 and Sir Matt type 2.

Yikes. The Tisdale -v- Taylor debate was divisive enough , but a Tisdale/jam first -v- Taylor/cream first will cause this forum to explode!

Only on Exeweb could a discussion about a former manager descend to an argument about scones, jam and cream. :ROFLMAO:

To those who think our fans are critical take a look at this thread:

ECFC is a timid undemanding little place to work compared to most other clubs, no wonder Tisdale hung around for so long.

MATCHDAY THREAD: Oxford United Vs The Mighty GAS | Bristol Rovers GasChat Forum
"Losing 5 games on the bounce at any level is a complete joke. And to plod on week after week like nothings wrong picking the same team and tactics is incompetence"
What!!...... Tisdale did this, no way!

I should like to object to post 373 as it appears to show something other than strawberry jam.

If so,

The spreadage is untidy too. (n)
