I was looking at Jay Emanuel-Thomas. He's still only thirty. Big, strong, powerful runner only to find apart from that one season where he was scoring goals for fun for Bristol City, his strike rate is really pretty poor.

He was talented however he is lazy and his best years are well behind him.

He hasn't scored a goal in English football for about 4 years !!

Fair enough. Whoever it is, just hope they can offer something the others can’t and it would also be good if they can link well with Bowman, rather than just be a like for like swap.

Don't think Bowman works with a partner, but perhaps he has before at an old club? Anyone know? Motherwell, Gateshead, Torquay etc

Personally want explosive pace as a different option, we're missing that.

There is explosive pace available, whether they can hit a barn door with a bango is another question.

At Motherwell he always played with a partner [Including Alex Fisher] . His partner, as far as I can tell, usually being the main target man for long balls.
