15% of £28,000,000 minus £1,800,000 is £3,930,000. What's all this 3.5 million stuff and what about the solidarity money, £980,000 by my reckoning, (3.5% of the transfer fee).

All this speculation about how much we're getting is precisely why I said we will never truly know, one person says one thing another says something else and then you add in another option, all we will know is that it's a lot, more than we have seen before and we should see the season out as the richest club in Division four (not allowing for benefactors donations), particularly after the Chrisene deal and possibly Williams as well

The solidarity money doesn’t apply as it’s a domestic transfer.

As a club I don't want to hear we don't have any money, don't have a sugar daddy etc etc for a long time.

We now have plenty of cash relative to the level we are at, how we choose to spend that cash is down to those in charge.

Let's move on from the little old Exeter City, we don't have a pot to p!$$ in vibe.

If we are to use it for the squad, I’d like to see it spent on PL/CH youngsters we could possibly sell on in the style of Williams.

The £1.8 million we got from Brentford was the initial fee. I am sure there were appearance related add ons that raised the total amount we got for him. That will go some way towards reducing our take from the 15% (though not by much).
