According to this tweet from a Torygraph journo, not only has IDS not read the WA thoroughly before voting for it, but having now had it brought to his attention, doesn't seem to really understand it. If he does understand it, then it seems he is misleading the public in an anti-EU message, again.I hope all those that voted for the WA read the fine print because this sounds like IDS didn't bother to when we had this "Oven Ready Deal" ?
James O'Brien examines Iain Duncan Smith's "idiotic" admission on Brexit
James O'Brien labelled Iain Duncan Smith's comments on the EU Withdrawal Agreement "one of the most idiotic" yet.www.lbc.co.uk
If correct you can't blame the EU because two sides have to agree.
So you're saying that what I'm saying has no basis in fact, but is merely a justification we use. Has it occurred to you that I might actually be factually correct? Words mean what I want them to mean in Tavyworld. That’s generally what people say when they’re seeking to justify why a racist remark or action against a British (usually white) person is acceptable. The distinction you make is valid but it doesn’t mean the remarks made by Indo are any less racist.
You can make many of the same arguments about the remain campaignWith all the lies - disinformation - misinformation - unlawful campaigning - foreign interference - incompetence - cronyism - nepotism - spaffing etc etc
As JOB said in that clip - "How do you stay loyal to the cause ?"
17.4 million + gawd knows how many Remainers like you DB respecting 'democracy' sic - there really is no hope left.
No they weren't, you're quite right. They were voting to say how cross they were and how dissatisfied they were with the UK political class. The fact IDS is a numpty doesn't invalidate what 17.4m + voted for. They weren't voting on the WA in June 2016.
Country has had 2 opportunities since to vote in a way that shows it made a massive collective mistake, and hasn't on either occasion. No they weren't, you're quite right. They were voting to say how cross they were and how dissatisfied they were with the UK political class.
And because this must be "respected", the country is contractually obliged, it seems, to inflict an enormous injury on itself. We are a global laughing stock...
The point being made was about Remainers like DB enabling the Johnson cabal since the Referendum. DB & co have been sold the same pup as the Brexiters - deeply dispiritingYou can make many of the same arguments about the remain campaign...
I'm not sure what pup was for sale? Country was asked to choose it's breed going forward and chose it.The point being made was about Remainers like DB enabling the Johnson cabal since the Referendum. DB & co have been sold the same pup as the Brexiters - deeply dispiriting
Just about sums it al up nicely.Everything's fine. Normal by Christmas. Smile and wave.
