As Matt said, it will be the same for Colchester on the Monday. Not ideal for either side.
Yeah but we've got to travel up and back before the second leg, Colchester only have to travel down.

Matt Taylor and coaching team to drive themselves separately to Colchester with a 20 man squad travelling by coach.

It's not like we can ask Flybe to fly us up to Southend now.

Indeed. Before the first leg we have to travel ten hours, Colchester none. By the time of the second leg we will have travelled 20 hours, Colchester 10.

Without wishing to appear pedantic Exeter to Colchester is a 4.5 hour trip so by the time of the second leg we will have travelled 9 hours, still a hell of a lot of time on the road and Colchester 4.5 hours.

You'd wonder if they could sort something out with GWR. Travelling by train is far quicker and far more comfortable than by coach.

There are hotels open in Chelmsford. They are technically for 'first responders' but that demand has reduced now. The club are travelling with the permission of the authorities so it would be worth checking if the club hasn't already done so. The qualification for using a hotel may be open to interprtation...

They must be treated as 'Key Workers' by EFL / Government otherwise there is no point taking part in this great risk to health / ECFC's survival. UTC

We can play the team that did so well in the wotsisname Cup against wotsisname.
The young team with a couple of seniors.

It's a massive faff going across London and out the other side, it would be more stressful than just getting on a coach
