Indeed. Before the first leg we have to travel ten hours, Colchester none. By the time of the second leg we will have travelled 20 hours, Colchester 10.

Without wishing to appear pedantic Exeter to Colchester is a 4.5 hour trip so by the time of the second leg we will have travelled 9 hours, still a hell of a lot of time on the road and Colchester 4.5 hours.

The club are travelling with the permission of the authorities so it would be worth checking if the club hasn't already done so. The qualification for using a hotel may be open to interprtation...

It's a massive faff going across London and out the other side, it would be more stressful than just getting on a coach
