Wimbledon's goalkeeping coach is none other than Ashley Bayes, who impressed in his three seasons with us in the 1990s. Weak connection established, I can now warble about Wimbledon....

What a job they've done this season. They've been in the relegation places since October, but yesterday's win means they're two points clear of the drop zone. While it's always good (in my eyes) to see a fan-owned club doing well - and Wycombe look like they've done enough to ensure safety this season too - you have to feel that this is a very important season in the history of AFC Wimbledon. Firstly, for their finances, especially with a new stadium on the horizon. Secondly, because there's a very real chance that MK Dons could go up, and that the meet and right order of things be reversed.

And on the same day that he won the prize his hometown team were relegated from the football league. Amazing to think that Jordan was on the books of Yeovil until they closed their academy.

Matt Grimes named Swansea Travel Club away player of the season.

What a difference to his time at Leeds. Looks like he has really come on this year.

Great player for the Grecians, just lacked a bit of pace..A shame when he declined a new contract(iirc) & decided to leave.

He has had a great couple of seasons at Rodney Parade.

Always thought he would come good - much like George Friend turned it around after his set back at Wolves.
