Interesting stat showing how well filled(or not) Football League grounds are this season.
SJP capacity is around 8,650 these days..Average this season is 4,237,that is 48%.It's wrong : i.e a load of bull.
I hope St James Park never goes down that cheesy route.I wish they'd use the actual stadium name in that, or put the club alongside - who plays at the "People's Pension Stadium" for example?
.
A little bit of local knowledge needed here, methinks!!!! Crawley's stadium is called the 'Broadfield' stadium, named after the area of town it is based in. The 'Peoples Pension's bit is a stand for home fans along one touchline which is rarely open most matchdays named after the company near Gatwick. I have had to suffer sitting in the temporary structure on occasion in the past. We wouldn't be happy if our beloved SJP was referred to as the 'Stagecoach' Stadium on this list. Hope this helps! Got nothing better to do!What an embarrassing name for Crawley to have for their stadium. Old age pest stadium.
