Good luck to him. Sad to see him go, but this seems to be a deal that benefits both parties, Nichols in that Peterborough are a side that have a habit of nurturing young players into becoming a success higher up the football ladder, and us in that we get a decent wedge for him with a sell-on clause on top.

Considering that Newport managed to get an apparent sell-on fee of just shy of £1m for Conor Washington when he moved to QPR, there's nothing to suggest that the same couldn't happen for us with Tom. Who knows? [G]
