Tom Nichols on the Move
Young Exeter City striker has joined Peterborough United on a long term deal. The fee is ‘undisclosed’ but thought to be £300,000 up front, with additional money base on appearances and also includes a sell-on clause.
Peterborough are currently 8th in League 1 and have just sold Conor Washington to QPR for a fee thought to be in the region of £2.5m.
Tom has been with Exeter City since he was 10-years-old. He’s scored 34 times for the Grecians, in 113 appearances. He made his debut on the last day of the 2010/11 season away at Sheffield Wednesday (and incidentally replaced by the manager Paul Tisdale).
Tom has been top-scorer for the last two seasons for Exeter. We wish him well in his career.
