if the Condems get it right, Labour are finished.
You'll need 7 million liberals to be kept sweet and onside for the long game before Labour are finished. Not going to be easy.

Yep, they put baby Brand or Burny in charge, swing left and wait, then they may well scoop up most of the wet w*nks that didn't vote Tory last time, as long as Cammy nobs it up.

If only it were that easy. The only given right now is that the LibDem vote will collapse. Which way those disenfranchised Demmers go will decide the make up of the next government come 2015.

If you assume all Tory voters vote Tory again and all Labour voters vote Labour again, and also assume the majority of the 10% Libdems are reckoned to lose swing back to Labour, we will be looking at David Milliband as Prime Minister through to the next decade (either in coalition or majority rule).

Labour are not finished by any means unless boundaries are changed to equal population sizes as part of electoral reform. This has favoured them since the dawn of time.

It was fairly straight forward...women stayed at home, whilst the blerrks just tottered on down to the polling booth to vote for some Lord, Earl, Duke or Marquess. It's just so bloody complex these days.

I believe the electoral bias to Labour has arisen over the last 30 years or so as rural seats have become larger and inner city seats smaller. By the time any reorganisation is approved it is already out of date. The 1992 election gave Johnny Major a thin 21 seat majority when he achieved a record popular vote. But all the conventional wisdom at the time was that if Labour could not win in 1992 they would never win again and little was done to realign the constituency boundaries. Johnny did not see the warning signs.

31% of the vote got Johnny 166 seats in 1997 while 29% this year got Gordy 258 seats which shows just how skewed the system is at present.

I believe in self reliance, taking personal responsibility for myself and family and am in favour of a small state which only interferes in a citizens life when they are in need of support.
So, on this basis, your personal view is one that would like the "mosque" at ground zero to be built, as it's a lawful right for it to be built. You would also agree, that any war in Iraq, is illegal, and therefore wrong.

But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day...

And that's not even looking at the massive lack of proportion in the Lib Dem results. 23% of the vote, 8% of the seats. Splendid.

Both Conservatives and the Lib Dems "suffer" in this respect from being #2 in a lot of constituencies, whereas in many of the larger (population) seats Labour isn't on the scale.

It wouldn't now take a seismic shift in the vote for either Conservatives or Labour to win quite easily.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.

Or if Alex Salmond gets his way north of the border.....The Scottish Labour party has a huge rump in Westminster..
