Gosling’s Gloucester Move on Loan

Jake Gosling has moved to Gloucester City on loan until the end of the season. Whaddon Road based Gloucester City are currently 19th in the Conference North. The 20 year old midfielder is expected to start in the away game at Gainsborough Trinity. He’ll join former Exeter City defender Billy Jones who recentlygosling_feat joined the Tigers on a short term contract.

Jake has only made 3 appearances this season: starting in the JPT match against Wycombe, and on late as a substitute in the games away to Cheltenham and home to Mansfield (all defeats). He’s seems to have fallen out of favour after being given a torrid time out on the wing at home to Dagenham & Redbridge last season.

Gloucester Chairman Stuart Pike said:

We welcome Jake to Gloucester City and I would personally like to thank Exeter City for their help. I am aware Tim has known Paul Tisdale (Exeter City – Manager) for many years and that obviously had a good bearing on Jake coming to Gloucester City.

Gloucester manager Tim Harris commented on the loan:

Jake Gosling will add to the balance of the squad perfectly, he can provide natural width and pace. Jake is equally comfortable on both flanks and is very keen to get some game time and looking forward to our trip to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday.
