Exeter City Spend £22,720 on Agent Fees

The Football League have published their figures on Agents’ fees. The total expenditure for League 2 was £674, 073.

For Exeter City the figure was a staggering £22,720. This will not go down well with Exeter fans having listened to the Club plead poverty on a number of occasions. No information on what players this was involved for, indeed if this was multiple player signing or just the one. The Club has in the past aimed not to spend its money this way.

These are the numbers for Exeter City which cover 1st July 2012 to 30 June 2013.

• Loans. 19 players.
• Total Transactions. 66.
• Total Amount Committed to Agents. £22,720
