Chesterfield Wrap Up August Manager and Player of the Month Awards

On Sky Sports News this morning, the announcement was made that Chesterfield’s manager Paul Cook was awarded manager of the month.

Alan Curbishley, who chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel, said:-

Chesterfield have made a solid start to their campaign. Paul Cook’s team are top of the league, and have shown early consistency.

Chesterfield also took the August player of the month as well. That award going to Gary Roberts, Chesterfield’s start signing of the close season.
