Next Up: Yeovil Town v Exeter City (friendly)

Tonight (Tuesday 23rd July) Exeter City travel to Somerset for a pre-season friendly against Yeovil Town. Information on prices can be found here. Kick off at 7.45pm.

Yeovil Town were promoted to the Championship last season after winning at Wembley in a play off final against Brentford.

The 2 teams have gone their separate ways since we last met in League 2 in the 2011/12 season. That season saw the games finish 1-1 and 2-2 at Huish Park. However City did dump the Glovers out of the League Cup to set up a plum tie with Liverpool. However the season finished on a low for the Grecians with relegation back to League 2.

The player most City fans will want to see in the Yeovil Town side, will be ‘Scrat’, our former captain Danny Seaborne. We announced his signing on Friday night here.

There will be signs to the car park for away fans, which is situated behind the away end. Even though this is a friendly with a lower than usual attendance allow plenty of time to get away from Yeovil after the game. The 2 stations, Yeovil Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction are both some distance from the ground.
